DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Small scar above her left eye from a bout long ago, Alex doesn't even remember when it happened. But the scar is unnoticeable to the human eye, as is the crescent shaped bite mark on the inside of her right ankle, although it is often covered by her signature mid-calf length leather boots.

ONE WORD DESCRIPTION: unique
MORAL & ALIGNMENT: neutral good and lawful evil at times (only when necessary)
PERSONALITY: AJ is the rebellious type, possibly due to her older sister Sumita’s similar ways. She enjoys a calm environment, but also can be quite impressive in a fight. She holds no desire to kill, or even a desire to injure, fighting just gives her a chance to use her martial arts skills. Without much care for the law, and a generally nice person all around, AJ goes with the flow. She certainly doesn’t care what other people think, and that works to her advantage most of the time. She also has a learned talent for manipulation. However, there is a tendency to use this for the worse. Mainly, she convinces people to allow her time off from working. Although, she is not a slacker. She works hard to keep the ship moving along swiftly. She has no problem making her opinion being known. She was very strong when she was created, due to the studies at the academy for martial arts, so that adds to the skill she holds in her new life.
AJ simply cannot stand a lot of the people she encounters in ports, especially people of power. She often cannot control her temper, but that makes no excuse for her outright behavior at times. There was one incident in Port Gio when she kicked a lord into the ocean and stormed off. When she has her guitar, she is calm. She uses this as a means to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Without mundane human needs, AJ often whiles away the hours on the deck softly singing and playing the guitar, which is a stark contrast to her daily behavior. Among other activities, she enjoys conversing with foreign people, especially ones who have stories to tell like her own. AJ likes talking about her family, especially her sisters, whom she hasn’t seen in almost ten years.
AJ isn’t one to go into a bar and not order a drink, for she tends to live life on the wild side. It bothers her when people think they are better than they are, because it causes arrogance and that can become a person’s worst characteristic. She hates arrogance, hot weather, and seaweed because they don’t seem to get out of her way when swimming. She likes to swim a lot; it is one of her most favorite past times. It is easy for her to just dive off the ship and go for a swim in the moonlight. However, when your foot gets caught in a batch of seaweed, it is extraordinarily annoying. How can something so insignificant be so overwhelmingly irritating?
Among many small pet peeves, AJ cannot stand people who disregard personal hygiene. She once had a relationship with a man who seemed nice on the outside but kept hideously unclean living quarters. Honestly, she cannot understand what is so difficult about bathing regularly and keeping your personal space tidy? A common courtesy for most people, why it is unbearable to just take ten minutes to arrange your shelves in a more orderly fashion. However, not actually on the side of the ship with the males, this is only a small problem for AJ in the overall picture.
THE SHIP: Sea Tiger
POSITION: crew
THE SHIP (alternate choice): Sea Tiger
POSITION (alternate choice): crew
WEAPONRY: Here we go…small throwing daggers tucked into each mid-calf boot; lightweight silver sword incrusted with three green emeralds and one small diamond—scavenged in her first voyage and has stuck with her ever since. She won this sword in a bout with a middle-aged man in a bar about three years ago, and it iw the most beautiful she has ever possessed. Another few pistols tucked cross-ways on her back, and a small sword beneath her jacket in a sheath; just in case it comes to this, a small vial of poison rests in a sewn patch just above her scar (left eye) in her hat.
MAGICAL ABILITIES: Time manipulation; Touch of Life
PRIZED POSSESSION: The Pendant
OTHER POSSESSIONS: ] Emerald gemstone pendant around her neck, given to her by her mother at her birth, has never left her person—ever; all her weapons were handmade and mean a lot to her; she has fought many battles using them all. All the clothes on her back plus one other shirt and a pair of britches make up the rest of her possessions. All are stored in a dark brown rucksack made of thick material near her bunk.
BIRTHPLACE: ] Kalguria, Zahmica; which is now demolished
FAMILY: ] Biological family: mother- Magilynn Aston; father- Sir Martin Aston; sisters- Morgan Walkson (married to Marcus Walkson), Sumita Bilkons (married to Robert Bilkons); brother- Carl Aston (died shortly after birth to pneumonia) .:--:. Creator: Samuel Arascon (no contact since)
PETS: none
PREVIOUS OPPUCATIONS: Before piracy, and before vampirism, Alexz had no real job, as she was only twenty-one when created. However, she had aspirations to study defense at an elite academy in London for many years.
HISTORY:[/b Alexz Zori Aston was born on her parents’ vacation to Kalguria. Shortly after her birth, her parents decided to move to Xydria from Alzaquia in hope of a better life for their children. Already, their two older daughters, Morgan and Sumita were well on their way through school, twins aged fifteen at the time. When Alexz was born, her sisters spent much time nurturing her, Alexz being their younger sibling. When Alexz (nicknamed AJ for clarity’s sake) was two years old, her younger brother Carl was born to their thriving family. However, due to the conditions their family lived in and the outbreak of a rare but fatal disease, he died at the age of six months. The family grieved for many months, and it became a period of sorrow for all that knew him.
After her birth, her mother presented each one of her precious babies (some not so young now) with a pendant of their birthstone. This pendant, and emerald signifying Alexz’s May birthday, was one she would wear every day as a reminder of her family. The long chain it has started on was not so long now, the pendant resting at the base of her throat.
The twins were seventeen now, and had began to venture away from the house, as the time suggested. When she was thirteen, her sisters both were married. The first was Morgan, who married a wealthy man named Marcus Walkson, and moved to a small island off the coast of Juernat and into a beautiful mansion, assuming a position of the government official’s wife. Morgan and Marcus met when Morgan was seventeen and studying at a more advanced school on scholarship. Marcus fell for Morgan, and after she managed to explain she was from a poor family, he proclaimed that he didn’t care about her background and still wanted to marry her. Morgan, quite satisfied with the love of her life, would grow on to be a respectable lady.
On the other hand, her more rebellious sister, Sumita, married a few years later at the age of thirty to a nice, respectable, but working-class man named Robert Bilkons. Sumita had had habits of sneaking out late at night to go to parties and meet boys. Perhaps it is this more rebellious nature that inspired AJ to become the girl she is still today.
Her real life started when she was eighteen. After a life of mediocre schooling, AJ was ready to discover her place in the world. She had aspirations to study at an elite academy for martial arts in Lbydarziet, but her family just couldn’t afford it. So, instead she left to find work, hoping that with a few years of hard work, she could at least get into the academy, much less study for a long period of time. A scholarship would be even better, but AJ had no formal training in martial arts, just what she had taught herself and seen on the streets. She convinced her parents to let her use everything she had to travel to Lbydarziat. AJ applied for a scholarship at the all-male academy by dressing as a gent and essentially passing days worth of rigorous tests. Although the false identity was hard to keep up, “Alexander” was determined enough in her studies that she didn’t care.
She managed to defeat all the contenders in a matter of minutes; all the while concealing her identity and learning everything it took to become one of the most learned young martial artists. She hadn’t even turned nineteen, and her time at the academy was going great, until a falsely close friend realized her secret and threatened to get her expelled. Her only choice was to leave the academy, or face being revealed. She took the less risky road, for once valuing her sanity more than her future. It was in the dark bars of Lbydarziat (which AJ had taken a habit to sneaking into late at night through the back door) where she first encountered her creator.
AJ first met Samuel Arascon approximately eight months after she had arrived in the city. He was a nice enough young man, and, before she could think twice, AJ was convinced that Samuel was her soul mate. But, he had other ideas. Unable to control his subconscious needs, Sam bit AJ one night when they were walking in the woods, and, feeling so ashamed of himself, took off to the sea and left her to transform all by herself. After days of writhing in pain, it took AJ only a few hours to realize what she had become. Always having an interest in myths and legends, AJ knew the stories her parents had told her about the Dalia, or the vampires. Not knowing what to do with herself, AJ became convinced that she would have to keep to herself instead of continuing her ambitions. Never having kept any contact with her parents nor her creator, AJ decided that piracy was a way to use her talents to their full potential. She could join a crew and would never have to see anyone from her human life ever again. AJ started searching for ships on the ocean’s edge, and eventually found the Sea Tiger to her liking. Here she lays, a dedicated worker with an inspiring personality. She likes to believe it was her skill in clean combat that won her passage on the Sea Tiger.
FAVOURITE COLOUR: Pink, the color of a girl. AJ is not your typical girly-girl, but she does like the color pink!
FAVOURITE ANIMAL: The wombat, because she there was a time when she was young and met a very cute wombat whom she befriended. Although it wasn’t long before her parents convinced her there was nothing special about the wombat, she still thought it was a very comforting feeling to confide in an animal.
FAVOURITE PLACE: Kalguria, Zahmica; her birthplace

RP EXAMPLE: Charlotte was standing at the stern of the schooner, gazing out into the calm clear ocean spread out in front of her. It had been a long day, and to have the chance to sleep out on the deck would be absolutely amazing. As she walked down below into her quarters and grabbed a blanket and pillow, she thought wouldn't it be amazing to go for a swim right about now? She didn’t often get time to herself, so on the rare occasion that her chores were finished and she couldn’t get to sleep right away, she liked to swim in the ocean for a little while just to calm her nerves.
Just as the sun was setting over the horizon, Charlotte dove swiftly into the calm water, enjoying the feeling of her starched and dirty white shirt against her body. It had always pleased her to be in the ocean at nightfall. Just as she was becoming more an more calm, she heard a splash in the near distance. She stroked over, knowing from the sound of the splash that it was a dolphin. Swiftly gliding through the water around her, Charlotte managed to grab its dorsal fin, suddenly jerked away across the water with great ease and pleasure. It was wonderful, and the sensation was immaculate.
After what seemed like an eternity of time had passed swimming with the dolphin, she gracefully climbed out on the deck to dry off. In fact, the sun was just rising, and, although she had meant to sleep on the deck that night, it was much more amusing with the dolphin. She stretched out on the deck to get a quick wink and to have her clothes dry out. After a few hours, people started to mill around and she decided it was time to get up. After a small breakfast of toast and eggs in the galley, there was no escaping the fact: Charlotte had gone another night without rest.
