When you hear the knell of a requiem bell,
Weird glows gleam where spirits dwell.
Restless bones etherealize,
Rise as spooks of every size...
Deaths at Disneyland Anaheim are dreadful, but not uncommon – just as common as they would be just any other place.
However, Disneyland – a land where magic reigns, and millions of dreams unfold – is not “just any other place”.
Souls that have been separated from their bodies at the parks are sent to the Haunted Mansion, where they are sorted by the owner of the mansion, Edward Gracey, into three different groups according to their strength of heart:
The characters from movies and shows brought to life from colored paper and screens.
The many cast members who work “behind the scenes” in various positions at the park, but are not underappreciated.
The ghosts who reside in the secret half of the “Haunted Mansion”, which happens to be an actual mansion for the dead without any other duty. They are not allowed to roam the parks during daylight, but are free to strike “terror” when the sun has set.
Your life may be over, but your story has merely begun…
