Pirate Application Form
status: a continuous work in progress...
“I watched my wildest dreams come true; not one of them involving you.”
KNOWN AS: Jade Talon
Jade :: [jeyd] :: noun :: 1. green gemstone, highly esteemed :: 2. a disreputable or ill-tempered woman.
Talon :: [tal-uh n] :: noun :: 1. the claw of a predatory animal, often a bird’s
BIRTH NAME: Jade Williams (middle name unknown)
Williams :: [wil-yuh mz] :: noun :: 1. the shield or defense of many
ALIASES: Jade, Talon, Duchess, Tigress
TITLES: Captain of Xydrian
AGE/BIRTHDAY: 274 years old // August 17th
GENDER: Female
RACE: Fire fairy; partly human.
FACE CLAIM: Anna Lutoskin
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: Five feet, seven inches; 130 pounds
BUILD: Jade is rather tall for a fairy, though still possesses the typical thin and lithe build. It is clear she is female, though not overly so. Soft curves complement Jade’s figure, though overall, her physic is hardened and tough. She is well muscled, but they are hidden under her feminine appearance. Surprisingly long legs make her look taller than she actually is, though her feet are rather small (of course she is rarely barefoot). Narrow at the waist, but her shoulders are broad, making her chest look larger than it actually is. Not the stereotypical fairy, Jade rather looks like a human with scarlet wings. Her wings protrude from her shoulder blades, extending to mid-head, and ending at her upper legs. The wings are shaped like a butterfly’s, rather than a dragonfly’s, and are in a four-sect pattern; the upper and lower-halves, and the right and left set.
HAIR: A bright crimson-orange colour, and Jade’s most noticeable feature. Though red hair is fairly common for fire fairies, Jade’s is exceptionally bright. Some browns and blonde mixed in as well though. Jade used to wear her hair rather short, falling at chin-length, curled under slightly. In recent years she has let it grown out longer, cascading to mid-back, just below where her wings meet at her shoulder blades. Only occasionally she wears it up; normally it is worn down or in a loose braid, with various baubles threaded into her locks, or with a faded bandanna. A soft leather tricorn hat sits upon her head at an often precarious angle, or pulled forward over her eyes to shadow her face.
EYES: Jade’s eyes are a light blue-gray colour, though the shade varies on what shape she is in. With a carnivorous-form, they tend to be greener, edging towards a strange teal hue. She has no way of controlling this, nor is it something that happens to all polymorphs; it’s just a weird but harmless glitch to Jade’s ability. They’re slightly flecked with gray and silver, looking like a stormy sea, and just as dangerous. She tends to avoid wearing kohl to line her eyes, for it overpowers their soft colour. Her eyes often gleam with animosity, or are shadowed with a devious glower.
SKIN TONE: Though fire fairies typically have darker skin, Jade’s is surprisingly light, likely due to her mixed-human ancestry. It still retains a medium-light tone from a life at sea, under the sun all day. Another one of her most noticeable features are her freckles, sprinkled across her face and arms. Otherwise her skin is mostly blemish-free, not counting the multitude of scars marring her body.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Both of Jade’s ears are pierced several times, though she normally only wears one or two pairs of earrings at a time. A multitude of scars decorate Jade’s body, the most noticeable of these on her shoulder blade, just above her left wing, stretching almost six inches down her back. Most scars are the result of blade training, several close calls in battle, or other close encounters. Many have faded to thin white lines, not particularly noticeable unless scrutinized. The only obvious mark is one that crosses her left eyebrow and continues several centimetres down beneath her eye. This was a result of a drunken pirate lord who decided Jade’s sharp tongue was too smart for her own good. After having a target-following throwing star hurled at her face, Jade preceded to kill him for his insolence. Various tattoos also mark her body, the biggest of a howling wolf placed on her upper-back between her shoulder blades, just below where her wings protrude. The others are just small symbols that carry personal meaning for Jade, but otherwise too small to be considered significant.
LIKES:
[+] the sea; the whole aspect of it; its untamability, its strength; Jade truly respects the sea while she rarely respects others.
[+] being captain; she worked long and hard to get where she is today, and she deserves it, damn it (or so she believes).
[+] the Sea Tiger; this ship is Jade’s only true lover, her only home, and the fastest ship in Xydrian, and maybe even in Zahmica, is the only place Jade feels remotely safe.
[+] making others nervous; Jade likes to be in a powerful position, and she likes manipulation. By making others nervous, she knows she has their attention.
[+] the sea; she was born on the sea, and intends to spend the rest of her life there as well.
[+] shifting her form (which also tends to make people nervous); luckily Jade’s shape-shifting ability allows her to keep her clothes as she shifts, so she can rapidly switch from whichever forms she wants. The sudden moment and constantly morphing form can be unnerving for people who aren’t accustom to it, which Jade thoroughly enjoys.
[+] the pain of others; especially when it is caused by Jade herself. She’s cruel, and proud of it.
[+] sex; Jade has been called a whore plenty of times before, and there’s a good reason for this. But she’s never been one to stay long enough for pillow talk; she’s more, ‘where’s the nearest water locker?’ and she makes it a point of always leaving first.
[+] drinking (hey, we’re pirates here); Jade doesn’t often get drunk, for when drunk she is not on her guard and therefore vulnerable, but when you’re a pirate, it’s impossible to avoid the drink.
[+] swordplay; Jade doesn’t admit to being the best, though she would certainly like to think so. When she sees the possibility of loosing, she’d rather play dirty than risk it, which is how she can hold her claim that she’s never been beaten. But she certainly is good nonetheless, having first held a sword at the age of three, and had one hanging at her waist ever since.
[+] freedom; Jade take pride in being untamable. If she ever lost her freedom, she’d rather kill herself than give her capture the satisfaction of being caged.
[+] bandannas; any colour, any pattern, anyone’s… Jade collects bandannas and constantly wears them, whether bound around her hair or tied around her leg or waist or arm; to Jade, they complete her.
[+] unpredictability; it makes life interesting, eh?
[+] Xydrian; home sweet home. Jade is temperamental, but the warm seasons in Xydrian suits her perfectly, while the several cool months of the year tick her off, she nonetheless likes Xydrian’s climate the best, in comparison to all the other territories. Also, Xydrian’s carefully balanced economy gives Jade additional leverage in her position as captain and pirate lord.
[+] fire; she’s a fire fairy, must this be explained? Jade’s a pyromaniac in every possible way; she loves everything about the blaze, especially its untamability. The only downside is that the dear Sea Tiger is made of the finest wood, and so she must be careful when playing with her fireballs.
[+] lying; it’s one of Jade’s natural talents. Words just slip out of her mouth in the most convincing manner, even sometimes unintentionally, but knowing that she just bested that bastard gives her the most satisfaction.
[+] being able to ignore men who flirt with her; Jade’s accustomed to being the center of attention, mostly thanks to her appearance, and she loves walking right past them, teasing them to know just a bit closer… if only they could have a taste, and then she snatches it right away.
[+] heights; Jade certainly has no problem with the ground, but the thrill of flying is one Jade could not live without. Having wings makes climbing the rigging certainly easier, and having no fear of falling makes her untouchable.
[+] doing crazy things (… making people nervous); Jade knows her limits, yet she dares to push herself everyday. She doesn’t do it for attention and certainly she has no suicidal thoughts, but she lives for the ecstasy of danger.
[+] the stars & the moon; soaring on broken wings… touch the heavens
[+] ambition; Jade believes that if you want something in this world, you have to take it for yourself. Jade believes that without ambition, there would be little purpose to life.
[+] lightening & thunderstorms; although it makes for difficult conditions, Jade merely sees weather as a challenge to be tamed to her will. However she admires the unpredictability of storms, no matter how much she curses about it.
[+] poker; Jade is not a gambler, because she realizes that the game is most often rigged, but she does allow gambling on her ship, and often leaves her crew with a little less in their pockets, so to speak. But she recognizes that if she wants their loyalty, she has to let them win once in a while…
DISLIKES:
[-] Vinny Duke; that cheatin’, lyin’, bastard…
[-] being told what to do; Jade likes to believe she has authority over everybody (not only because of her rank, but because she’s incredibly vain), and when somebody tells her what to do, or even suggests it, Jade will take it as a person insult
[-] being reminded of her past; Jade makes a point of keeping her past a secret. She doesn’t want people thinking she became a captain only because she inherited her position, and she doesn’t want to be reminded of her naivety. Also, she likes to believe she’s untouchable, but if her past was revealed, so would all her weaknesses.
[-] men thinking they have authority over her because of their gender; though Jade’s fair on her ship when recruiting, and actually prefers a crew of men (for several reasons…. Though some of which are actually serious), Jade refuses to be put down because of her gender; she does have other flaws, but her gender is not one of them.
[-] following the rules; Jade lives for defiance. The only rules she believes she has to follow are her own, and the laws of the sea.
[-] Irish human mortals; Jade believes that because most of them look like her, they therefore shouldn’t be allowed to live.
[-] being called a pussy faerie; she may be a faerie, but that ain’t mean she won’t hesitate to rip out your throat.
[-] when other people are drunk; she finds it revolting. She doesn’t mind drinking, but if you allow yourself to become that venerable, Jade will not care if you’re left behind or fall overboard or get yourself stuck in jail; it’s your own fault. She allows rations of gin while on board ship, and often turns a blind eye if people smuggle it onboard, as long it does not interfere with their work, and she doesn’t mind her crew drinking while on leave in port, though she does discourage it.
[-] vulnerability; Jade hates weakness in any form, especially in herself.
[-] when other people are polymorphs; Jade likes to think she’s the only one. But while polymorphs are incredibly rare, there are others out there, and Jade will immediately dislike you for being a polymorph, because it makes her less individual.
[-] spending money; it annoys Jade to spend money when she could rather steal it, but when buying things like sails and rope, even though she could easily steal it, Jade buys it, as much as it bothers her, because she at least respects their trade.
[-] being wrong; this bothers her as much as being told what to do. Especially when she’s headstrong about something, and someone points out that it’s wrong, and she knows she’s wrong, but she’s too proud to admit it.
[-] stupidity & idiocy; she can't tolerate it. Stupid people should just die and stop over-populating the world.
[-] ignorance; if you think the world is a happy-go-lucky place, you're so fucked up Jade will kill you for no good reason.
[-] crabs; became Vinny likes them. and because they have little pitchers and Jade just thinks they're unusual and strange.
[-] most women; because most women are pushovers and stay at home to cook and clean, or they’re whores.
[-] women who believe in girl-power; because it’s lame. And girl-power sucks, according to Jade.
[-] girls who shriek; because they give all women a bad name.
GOALS:
>> to one day captain all of Zahmica; she may be slightly crazy, but she’s considerably fair, and since her rule, Xydrian has prospered in a golden age, but Jade will never be satisfied with what she has.
>> to forget her past; Jade considers it a weakness, and therefore, it must be lost.
>> to make people quiver when they hear her name; yes, she’s vain.
>> to kill Vinny Duke. Because he’s a backstabbing hypocrite and he would make a very lovely throwing-knife target.
>> to be able to shift her form into every different animal in the world.
>> to kill off all other polymorphs.
>> to break the connection between Earth and Zahmica.
>> to kill the Breuers. Because they’re pansies and if they’re dead, it’s once more piece of territory that will belong to Jade.
FEARS:
<< death; though not immortal, and Jade knows she will eventually die, she fears dying like her mother did, in a foolish, preventable way.
<< being committed; Jade’s only commitment is to her ship and crew. Any other commitments are a weakness.
<< having children; Jade enjoys shagging, but if she were ever hampered by a child, she would not be able to bear it. Also, Jade knows she wouldn’t really make a good mother, and even worse, the whole thought of the actually pregnancy makes Jade consider giving up her pleasure… but only temporarily.
<< falling in love; actually loving another human being. Lust is one thing, love is another. To love means Jade would want to give up her life for another person. She would have to care for another person, and she would be committed to them.
<< being a prisoner; because she would be locked up in chains and mocked and spat at and she would be helpless to do anything about it. Seriously, that’s what happens in Jade’s nightmares. Only she’s also surrounded by a bunch of redheaded kids in these nightmares.
<< being helpless; because all her life Jade has taken what she wanted, depending on only herself. Without that, Jade would be nothing.
SKILLS:
{{ incredibly gifted at navigation- if you take her across the world blindfolded, all Jade needs to do is glance at the stars to tell you where you are
{{ manipulation; Jade is easily able to convince people, and sometimes almost believes herself.
{{ swordsmanship; she hasn’t been beat, yet. Though not entirely fair, Jade does have considerable talent with a blade. Her attacks and parries are strong and sure, and she does not give up any fight easily.
{{ iron-willed; once Jade has her mind set on something, she will stop at nothing.
{{ physical strength; being on ships all your life can help with being strong…
{{ clever; Jade will do whatever she needs to get what she wants done, but often her cunning does it for her.
WEAKNESSES:
}} overly arrogant & vain; in her appearance, her authority… but when she’s wrong, it crushes her
}} thinks she’s invincible
}} doesn’t know when to stop- whether it’s beating a man ‘til he cries or being a smart-arse, she doesn’t know how to stop until it’s too late
}} unpredictable temper; she will be understanding and calm one moment, and then she will stand up and draw her sword and threaten to kill you, cursing and enraged like a fury.
}} blunt; while Jade had tact when she needs it, if she feels like saying something to someone’s face, she will say it, no matter how terrible their reaction.
}} lacks empathy; she’s only ever depended upon herself, and she believes who have hardships in life or can’t stand up for themselves should just die, because it’s their own fault anyways.
ONE WORD DESCRIPTION: cynical
MORAL & ALIGNMENT: chaotic evil
PERSONALITY: To start off, Jade is a triple threat- beautiful, clever, and humourous- but worst of all, she knows it. Though vain in her appearance, this is not the worst of Jade’s faults. When saying she is clever, she is tricky, cunning, and not afraid to go against the rules. Her sense of humour is often bitter and sarcastic, and most often will point at another’s misfortune. She’s unpredictable in more ways than one; she will often choose to remain silent, but when she speaks up, she has a tongue like a viper. Her temper is volatile and wild; she may go from a calm and somewhat pleasant mood, to attacking anyone who gets in her way. Jade also has a knack for making people nervous; because she is so unpredictable, whenever she is approached, with no way of telling what crazy mood she is in, most people tend to stutter and forget what they were going to say to her, putting Jade in a worse mood than she would have been in before.
Jade also has a twisted sense of authority. She knows her place on the ship- as captain- and expects everyone else to fall in line behind her. She holds grudges and does not forgive and forget easily; if you’ve angered Jade before, she will not forget, and make sure you don’t either. Jade tends to be overly arrogant, and she’s never really felt she has to respect others, though she demands that others respect her. Twisted, yes. The sea is the only thing she truly respects. She is cunning at times, for she will pretend to give you her admiration and respect to get you to do what she wants, but it’s only momentary. To get Jade’s true admiration, you must earn it. There are only a select handful that she honestly respects.
Jade also does not really pay any heed to the alliance rules; supposedly, about a hundred years ago, then the pirate captains met at the mutual territory- the island in the middle of Zahmica- there was an unspoken alliance between them, that they would not attack another when in this territory, and all former or current grudges would be temporarily forgotten for the sake of the alliance. Even since Jade became a captain, these rules have stopped being enforced. She will pick a fight with anyone she damn pleases, not at all minding the rules or consequences.
Jade’s knack for manipulation has always come easily to her. Even since the death of her father, she quickly learned that to get what she wanted, she’d have to get it from somebody else. Although she enjoys violence in an unhealthy way, Jade’s tactics are also subtle. She turns people against each other, while still keeping their respect. Jade will also blackmail people to get what she wants, but she’s always careful to tack the blame on someone else, leaving them responsible and her reputation untarnished. For the most part. There's really no making up for the fact that she's out to control and manipulate everyone and everything around her. If she finds herself in a fight, she will carry things too far. This is a fact. It's what Jade does. She likes to fight, and, when fighting, she likes to hurt other people. In friendly games, she is always the one who goes too far and saunters across the line.
Jade is also incredibly cruel. She likes to play with people and loves to toy with her prey. Even those who are undeserving most often fall victim of Jade’s cruelty. While Jade is subtle when it comes to her manipulation, when she is cruel, she is brutal. Jade cares for herself, and only herself. She finds pleasure in the pain of others. She believes that other’s misfortune is their own fault and utterly lacks empathy. She points out the flaws or others and is brutally honest. Jade is coldhearted although she enjoys chaos, but only when she creates (or assists to create) it. Jade prefers to distance herself from most people, to avoid any form of commitment, so that the whole world only knows Jade’s hard exterior, keeping her most inner thoughts secret.
Jade is incredibly deceptive to everyone around her, even those she rarely trusts or respects. The mask that she shows to the outside world is a convincing one, for Jade believes that any form of kindness or vulnerability is a weakness. Jade takes pride in being enigmatic, leaving the world wondering the truth. Jade sees emotion as a weakness as well, and the last thing she wants to do is appear weak in any way. She lives for respect, she’s enjoys when others fear her, but any weakness is unacceptable.
Jade does what she wants, when she wants. Once she has something set in her mind, she will stop at nothing to accomplish it. Her determination is very much of a weakness as well as a strength. It impairs her judgment, affecting how she acts. This unending chain affects Jade’s inter turmoil as well. However she nonetheless is entirely unconcerned with the consequences of her actions. Her twisted morals attribute to her recklessness. She believes that she’s the only person in the world she should care for, and therefore if her reckless actions or attitude affects someone else, she believes that it’s their own fault, and does not care in any way.
Despite all her negative aspects, somewhere beneath it all is the little Jade before her father died; a Jade who wants to be loved and cared about. She brushes these thoughts away, but deep down, they still remain. She’s confused about love and what it means. Jade is afraid to be committed to anything, especially to someone else. She’s afraid of letting someone else inside, beneath her rough exterior. She wants to be loved, but doesn’t know how to love in return. She’s more of a one-night girl, moving on before she can get too attached. To hurt before she can be hurt.
THE SHIP: The Sea Tiger
POSITION: Captain
POSITION (alternate choice):
WEAPONRY: Fyrian - a beautifully crafted rapier that was her father’s; the blade is wrought with ornate calligraphy, and the pommel curls around the hilt and hand guard in elaborate swirls – it always hangs at her left hip, sheathed in simple leather
A multitude of daggers, knives, and blades are hidden on Jade’s person- a pair strapped to each thigh, a shiv fitted along her forearm, several tucked into her boots, an a set against her ribs
A brace of finely crafted pistols are slung across Jade’s waist, although she prefers swords to guns unless absolutely necessary
A black whip is coiled and fitted at Jade’s right hip; made of leather and snakeskin, with a thin handle engraved with a pouncing tiger. Though tightly coiled, Jade can wield and use it with a flick of her wrist
MAGICAL ABILITIES: Pyrokinesis && Polymorph
PRIZED POSSESSIONS: Jade’s one and only lover and most prized possession is the Sea Tiger; if it were sinking, Jade would go down with it. However she would also choose to save Fyrian, her father’s sword, as it’s the only connection she has to her past life.
OTHER POSSESSIONS: Jade typically wears tight fitting pants tucked into leather boots, and a loose and lacey shirt under a tight leather vest. All of her weaponry is tucked among her array. She also carries a set of navigation maps with her at all times. A compass hangs from one of her many belts, though she rarely uses it. Jade prefers not to wear much jewelry, especially not rings, although right hand has a fingerless black glove on it that reaches to her mid forearm. She wears only one necklace, a simple key, though if you even mention it, she will run you through. She occasionally beads a variety of trinkets and baubles into her scarlet hair, mostly glass or silver beads. Her wings are a light orange-crimson colour, and protrude from her shoulder blades (her shirt and vest are specially cut), and the tops of the wings are visible over her shoulders, and the bottom tips curl down to the back of her hamstring. When she shifts shape, all of the possessions on her person shift with her, though are not visible in any form other than her human (in which she just tucks her wings away) and fairy forms, but they always reappear when she shifts back.
BIRTHPLACE: Aboard the Revenge, when it was likely in Xydrian waters.
FAMILY:
father: Jack Williams; deceased – fire fairy / human
mother: Raven Williams (née Ryder); deceased – fire fairy
stepmother: Isabella Williams (née Caron); deceased – fire fairy / fire elf
stepbrother: Jacob Kensington
stepsister: Rory Kensington
PETS: None. However she doesn’t mind a few animals on her ship, as long as the owners are responsible for them; but if the number of animals gets to be too much, she will put a ban on them.
PREVIOUS OCCUPATIONS: Though Jade could be considered a pirate since the day she was born, it was only in recent years that she has becoming truly so. Living on the streets of Xydrian she learned various jobs, some more innocent than others. There was a brief period where she was even hired as an assassin.
HISTORY:
[/blockquote]
Long before Jade’s birth, the seas of Xydrian were ruled by Jack and Raven Williams. They were young lovers and partners in crime. Raven was the brains, Jack the brawn, and they were both beautiful. They were also both fire fairies- though Jack had a tiny bit of human blood mixed from somewhere in his ancestry. During their reign, a golden age of piracy flourished in the western region of Zahmica. Jade was their firstborn, and much beloved by the pirate king and queen. Jade was raised during the first couple years of her life at sea, the crew becoming her adopted family. But during an attack by the pirates of Suria, Raven sacrificed herself, taking a bullet to the chest to save her six-year-old daughter. Despite his Touch of Life, Jack could not save his beloved wife- she was dead as she hit the deck.
Jack was devastated. To his credit, he did not blame Jade for the death, but he fell into depression. When Jade was sixteen, he remarried a woman who reminded him so much of Raven, his broken heart yearning to be loved once more. But though she resembled Raven in appearance, Isabella was not the woman Raven had been, and Jade resented her step-mother. Isabella had been previously married as well, to a man named Dylan Kensington. Dylan had once been married to a woman named Lily. Their marriage had resulted in two children, Jacob and Rory. But when Lilt passed away, and Dylan remarried Isabella, Dylan too passed away, leaving Jacob and Rory in Isabella’s care. So when Isabella married Jack, the Kensington children came too. Similarly to Jade, they hated and resented Isabella. It was easy to tag the loss of their parents to his woman, though she didn’t necessarily deserve it.
Though Jack suffered from a broken heart, he still reigned as pirate king, and his daughter came with him, as they wished to escape from Jack’s mistake of marrying Isabella. So for the first two decades of her life, Jade spent a majority of her time aboard her father’s ship, the Revenge. Though her father locked himself away in his cabin, Jade was raised as in equal by the crew, learning everything a pirate protégée needed to know. She quickly took to whatever pistol, helm, or line was thrust into her hands, and Jack immerged from his dark cabin only to teach Jade how to handle a blade. Jack Williams was an infamous swordsman, but as Jade got older, there were times when Jack would kneel before his daughter’s blade, defeated. It was said that Jade had the beauty, brains, and brawn of both her parents, and would surpass their infamousness.
Jade was fairly naïve at this time, though. When Jack Williams died, Jade was told it was suicide. That’s what everybody believed; even since his wife’s death, he’d suffered from depression. It never occurred to Jade that it might be something else. She later found out; her father’s will was lost, and so Isabella gained all his possessions, including the Revenge. The Golden Age of Xydrian fell. Jade was ignored by her stepmother, as were her stepsiblings, and they were abandoned. Living on the streets for several years hardened Jade; all innocence lost, she learned of the harsh reality of the real world. Despite growing up on a pirate ship, she had always lived a fairly sheltered life. During Isabella’s reign of terror, Jade came to realize that Jack’s death was no suicide. Never satisfied with living on land, Jade signed onto the first ship she could, as a ship’s boy. Already having a vast knowledge about the sea, Jade quickly advanced. But before she had been sheltered; now she knew the truth of a man’s hard work and sweat and blood.
It was during this time that Jade grew vile and bitter; with nobody to watch out for her, and refusing to become a victim, Jade fought her own battles. She lost sensitivity to death and killing, just as her innocence faded away- the life she had before was just a dream, a lost memory. The only thing that drove her forward from each day was revenge. She would avenge her father, destroying the woman that had destroyed her life. As Xydrian fell into an economic depression, there were many who hated Isabella as much as Jade. The rebellion began at the turn of the century; led by Jade, Isabella was pushed from her dictatorship. However the Revenge could not be saved; it slowly fell into the sea, devoured by flames.
Jade changed her surname to Talon, leaving all memories of her former life behind with her surname Williams. To this day, not many know she is actually the daughter of the infamous Williams. She’d rather be judged under her own name, than to have people assume she’s only a captain because she inherited her parent’s place. Jade earned her worth in the world, and was loaned a ship, which she dubbed the Sea Tiger and promptly stole from its owners. The Revenge’s old crew had either died under Isabella’s rule or in the battle that followed, so Jade had to start her crew from scratch. She proved to be a good captain, for though not entirely fair or very honest at all, she was able to carefully restore Xydrian’s economy. Though not immortal, Jade has a long reign ahead of her, and keeps her friends close but her enemies closer.
FAVOURITE COLOUR: Crimson, like the colour of her wings and hair. Jade is also fond of turquoise, like colour of the sea.
FAVOURITE ANIMAL: Her favourite animal is a tiger, for which she named her ship, and it is also her favourite animal to shift form. She searched for years to find a tiger so she could ‘fingerprint it,’ as she calls it when she learns a new animal form.
FAVOURITE PLACE: Jade never feels safe anywhere but at sea, on the deck of the Sea Tiger.
